Audi Coupe

The Audi Coupé (B2, Typ 81/85) was a two-door coupé produced and sold by Audi from 1980 to 1988, first displayed at Pars Salon 1980. It was offered as a less expensive version of its turbocharged, permanent four-wheel drive Audi Quattro without turbocharger(s) or four wheel drive. The Coupé was available as just plain "Coupé" or GL (four-cylinders only), "Coupé GT", and "Coupé quattro" (without the GT tag). From September 1980 to September 1987, 174,687 Typ 81 Coupés were built. Quattro production ran from late 1984 to 1988, and was in the total region of 8,000 cars.

To check the transmission fluid level in an Audi Coupe, first make sure the engine is warm and the vehicle is on a level surface. Locate the transmission dipstick, which is typically located near the back of the engine compartment. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then remove it again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick.

How do I diagnose an engine misfire in my Audi Coupe?
