Renault Laguna repair manual

Renault Laguna

The Renault Laguna is a large family car whose production started in 1993 and still takes place. The predecessor of the Laguna is the Renault 21. It was produced in three generations; Laguna I (1993 2000), Laguna II (2000 2007), and Laguna III (2007 to date). The name Laguna was also previously used by Chevrolet from 1973 to 1979, when a car named Chevrolet Chevelle Laguna was available. Please note: The image above is a stock image of a Renault Laguna from around 2011. There are 19 different engine types and 22 different years covered by our workshop manuals. Renault Laguna FAQ's

How do I change a flat tire on my Renault Laguna?

To change a flat tire on your Renault Laguna, start by locating the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench in the trunk. Find a safe and level area to park the vehicle and engage the parking brake. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire, then position the jack under the vehicle's designated lifting point and raise the car off the ground. Fully remove the lug nuts, take off the flat tire, and replace it with the spare tire. Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the vehicle back to the ground, and then use the lug wrench to fully tighten the lug nuts.

How do I change the oil in my Renault Laguna?

To change the oil in your Renault Laguna, you will need to locate the oil drain plug underneath the vehicle and remove it using a wrench. Once the oil has drained completely, you can replace the drain plug and proceed to remove the old oil filter. After installing a new oil filter, you can then add the recommended amount and type of oil specified in the owner's manual, using a funnel to avoid spills. It is important to properly dispose of the old oil and filter in an environmentally friendly manner.

What should I do if my Renault Laguna's engine overheats?

If your Renault Laguna's engine starts to overheat, the first step is to safely pull over to the side of the road and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down before attempting to investigate the cause of the overheating. Check the coolant level and ensure it is at the appropriate level. If the coolant level is low, you may need to add more coolant after the engine has cooled. If the problem persists, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
